A Warm Welcome!
On February 10, we joyfully welcomed Mother Ginger to St. Mary's Episcopal Church. We look forward to worshipping and growing together under her leadership.
Mother Ginger Bennett
Priest, St. Mary's Episcopal Church
Mother Ginger was ordained as a priest in 2020 and most recently served at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Shippensburg, PA before joining our community here in Waynesboro. Mother Ginger is passionate about the importance of faith in helping people find wholeness and healing in and beyond the walls of the church. In a desire to deepen her pastoral care skills in service to veterans, service members, and their families she completed a Chaplain Residency at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
She joined St. Mary's on February 10 and has brought warmth and dedicated pastoral care to our parish family. We give thanks to God for this new chapter and ask for your continued prayers for Mother Ginger and for our congregation as we move forward together in faith.

Serving God & Country
Chaplain, United States Air Force & Civil Air Patrol
In addition to her ministry at St. Mary's, Mother Ginger is proud to serve as a Chaplain in the United States Air Force and in the Civil Air Patrol. Her military chaplaincy reflects a deep calling to care for the spiritual well-being of service members, cadets, and their families.
We are grateful to have a priest whose commitment to service extends beyond the walls of our parish. We hold Mother Ginger and all who serve in our armed forces in our prayers.
