St. Mary's Episcopal Church warmly invites the community to gather each Wednesday morning for a Healing Prayer Service — a time of quiet worship, renewal, and intercession for those in need of God's healing grace.

The service features an abbreviated celebration of the Holy Eucharist, followed by an opportunity for individuals to come forward and receive personal prayer. Whether lifting up a concern for yourself, a friend, a family member, or any burden on your heart, all are welcome to participate in this intimate and powerful time of prayer.

A Time for Renewal and Intercession

Each Wednesday morning, St. Mary's Episcopal Church opens its doors for a Healing Prayer Service rooted in the ancient Christian tradition of laying on hands and intercessory prayer. The gathering begins with an abbreviated celebration of the Holy Eucharist, grounding the service in the life and grace of Christ before moving into a time of personal prayer ministry.

Following the Eucharist, individuals are invited to come forward to receive healing prayers. There is no requirement to share every detail — simply bringing yourself, your needs, and your faith is enough. Prayer may be offered for physical healing, emotional well-being, spiritual renewal, or on behalf of loved ones and friends who are in need.

"Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise. Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them."

James 5:13–14

All Are Welcome

This service is open to everyone — members of St. Mary's and visitors alike. Whether you are carrying a heavy burden or simply seeking a moment of stillness and connection with God midweek, the Healing Prayer Service offers a gentle and welcoming space to do so.
